Community Bible Study

Opelika AL

Opelika AL

Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.

ABOUT THE CLASS

This is a Women's Class
WED at 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Registration is underway for our current members wishing to participate in the 2024-2025 class year.  We will begin meeting Wednesday, September 4, and continue until April of 2025.  Our breaks will match the Opelika school calendar. Our class will study the book of Matthew.  Our children's program is limited and fills up quickly, so women who plan to register children are encouraged to sign up early.

The heart of Community Bible Study interaction is in our core groups. For the 2024-2025 year, our class will continue to have an option for core groups that meet in person as well as core groups that meet exclusively online. Once you have registered for a type of class (online vs in-person) class, you may not switch to the other type. Both online and in-person groups will meet on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 am and will be doing the same study, but only the in-person class will have a children's component.  The registration fee is $35 for adults and $10 for each child.

Currently Studying: Matthew, Psalms

For the Fall 2024/ Spring 2025 year, we will study Matthew.

MINISTRIES

Next Gen Ministry

Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, worship, games, and other activities, we seek to provide a welcoming and engaging environment where the next generations can learn about Jesus. Our offerings are tailored to a child’s developmental stage, starting with babies, and going through high school. Beginning in our elementary classes, our curriculum can be aligned with an adult class so that parents and their children may study the same Book of the Bible, enabling parents additional opportunities to assist their children in living out God’s truths in their lives.
